Microsoft Acquired Mojang

Microsoft has acquired Mojang for $2.5 billion.
Mojang has posted information that answers most, if not all the questions we've all been asking.

Where Microsoft and the rest of the Mojang developers plan to go from here is still up in the air. Let's hope it turns out for the best!

All of this stuff is happening while Bukkit is basically abandoned, and while it was already unlikely there would be a 1.8 version of Bukkit, Spigot, Cauldron, Sponge, etc... available anywhere in the near future. For now, we're still going to be running the way we have been, and have no plans of shutting down. Crafting Crafter is already one of the oldest servers out there, we have been up since 1/5/2012 and we don't have any intention of stopping yet.
